How did GPK电子官网 distribute the HEERF funds to Waldorf students?

A portion of the CARES Act allocated a sum of funds to be distributed directly to students. GPK电子官网 followed the directives per Department of Education (ED) guidelines and distributed a majority of the money equally amongst qualifying individuals. GPK电子官网 has also set up a separate HEERF fund that allows eligible students in need to apply for additional funding. The initial distribution and need fund combined will spend the total allocation provided to GPK电子官网 by the ED for students.

  • GPK电子官网 signed and returned the certification and agreement form and has used or will use the funds to provide the mandated amount of at least 50% of the emergency financial aid grants to students.
  • GPK电子官网 received a $248,610 authorization under the HEERF student portion.
  • GPK电子官网 distributed $212,250 within the first 30 days of the distribution.

      • An application process was open to all residentially enrolled students with a HEERF我II committee assigned to select recipients in December 2021. Waldorf used various HEERF我II-ARP allowable student expenses as selection criteria with the HEERF我II committee making the final decision for recipients and amounts. The application process distributed $38,000 to 35 residential students December 2021.
      • January 2022–GPK电子官网 distributed $87 to 122 and one $43 online Pell Grant recipients totaling $10,657. Again, Pell Grant eligibility was a federal HEERF我II-ARP requirement for online students.
